Seasia builds dry bulk terminal in Bataan

Seasia Nectar Port Services Inc. (SNPSI) is building a dry bulk terminal in Mariveles, Bataan. SNPSI, a joint venture company between Seasia Logistic Philippines, Inc. and Nectar Group Ltd., officially started development work on the 11.4-hectare port after a groundbreaking ceremony.

SNPSI Chairman Ramon Atayde and Authority of the Freeport Area of Bataan (AFAB) Chairman and Administrator Deogracias Custodio led the event with Bataan Governor Albert Raymond Garcia and Congressman Enrique Garcia.

Mariveles Dry Bulk Terminal to start operating in 2016

SEASIA Nectar Port Services, Inc. (SNPSI) will start operating next year a new bulk terminal in Bataan, a project that will allow direct shipments from the province.

The Authority of Freeport Area in Bataan (AFAB) said in a statement that locators in the existing port area can utilize the planned Mariveles Dry Bulk Terminal to transmit their shipments to domestic and overseas destinations. Read more...

Construction of dry-bulk terminal at free port area of Bataan starts

SEASIA Nectar Port Services Inc. (SNPSI), which will operate the first port services in Freeport Area of Bataan (FAB), has started the construction of the 11.4-hectare Mariveles Dry Bulk Terminal inside FAB.

SNPSI, a joint venture of Seasia Logistic Philippines Inc. and United Kingdom-based Nectar Group Ltd., will soon offer port services which will ease logistics to FAB locators as they can directly ship their products to Manila and outside the country.

Bataan facility up in ’16

SEASIA Nectar Port Services Inc. (SNPSI), a joint venture between Seasia Logistic Philippines Inc. and British firm Nectar Group Ltd., has started the construction of a P813-million dry bulk terminal in Bataan, which is seen to attract more foreign firms and offer more opportunities to locators within the Freeport Area of Bataan (FAB).

“The presence of SNPSI would help in attracting more investors to locate at the FAB, as costs of shipment would be reduced. This project gives us confidence to market ourselves to other kinds of industries worldwide,” said Deogracias Custodio, administrator of the Freeport Area of Bataan. Read more...
